Second NuMeriQS Retreat

From September 15 to September 18, 2025 we met for the second NuMeriQS Retreat, which took place at Kloster Steinfeld in the Eifel.

The first day was reserved for the NuMeriQS early career researchers. On the second day we had two very intersting talks by external researchers: Julia Westermayr and Jennifer Schober. Moreover, we had two introductory presenatations, one by Frank Neese on the coupled cluster algorithm and a second one by Thomas Luu and Carsten Urbach on Lattice QCD for dummies. The status of the single projects was presented in short talks, amended by posters. The method convenors presented ideas on how to extend their applicabilities.

My research focuses on Computational Physics, and in particular Lattice QCD, Lattice Field Theories, algorithm development and statistical data analysis. This naturally includes high performance computing.
